Limited Lifetime Warranty
Sunbelt is committed to customer satisfaction by backing all Sunbelt sunglasses with a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. This warranty covers your Sunbelt sunglasses against manufacturer’s defects in material or workmanship only. The warranty does not cover damages caused by use or abuse. Be aware that scratched lenses are not a manufacturing defect.
Sunbelt reserves the right to determine manufacturing defects, and requires proof of purchase from an authorized Sunbelt dealer to qualify our products as warrantable. All claims must be submitted directly via the online Warranty Claim Form.
The following forms of Proof of Purchase are acceptable for purchases that were made at one of our authorized retailers:
- Sunbelt online order notification email receipt.
- Copy of the physical receipt with a visible date of purchase and retailer name.
If you purchased from a retail store or another website you must register your item for the warranty before you can submit a warranty claim. Warranty registration must be submitted within 30 days of your purchase of your Sunbelt sunglasses. To register your item for warranty CLICK HERE.
If you purchased from SunbeltOptic.com, warranty registration is not required. You will need your Sunbelt Optic order number to submit a warranty claim.
All warranty claim items are inspected for manufacturing defects. There is a non-refundable warranty processing fee of $10 for inspection of each warranty claim item. Be aware that the warranty processing fee will not be refunded if the inspected item is not found to have any manufacturing defects and your claim is denied.
Warranty claims that are denied will have the option to order a repair with the cost of the warranty processing fee credited towards the repair cost.
You can submit a Warranty Claim ONLY if you have a Sunbelt online order number or a Warranty Registration number. Should a defect occur please CLICK HERE to submit your warranty claim. Each item submitted must have a separate warranty claim.
US Postal shipping for the warranty replacement item sent to you (in continental U.S. residents, including AK and HI) is FREE. US Postal shipping internationally for your warranty replacement is $25.
We do not stock or sell replacement parts for our sunglasses. In many cases you may be able to order a repair for your sunglass frame or replacement of the lenses. Please submit a Repair Inquiry if you need to order a repair.
Returns and Exchanges
Please complete our Request Merchandise Authorization form.
Online order returns must be requested within 10 days of your receipt of the product. Customers are responsible for the return shipping cost. After inspection, if the returned item is deemed to be in sellable condition (that means unused and undamaged) Sunbelt will refund the purchaser of the order for the full amount of the product within 14 business days of our receipt of your package. Anyone other than the original purchaser of the order is not eligible to request or receive a refund or exchange.
If you are requesting an exchange, please allow 2 weeks for processing your exchange order.
Shipping and Delivery
For security reasons, orders that are shipped by USPS First Class mail to apartments, unit #s, lot #s, suites, etc. will require signature confirmation.
If your order is shipped by FREE shipping it will be delivered by USPS First Class mail. The USPS tracking link in your Order Shipment Email Notification should provide you with an estimated delivery date. Please understand that Sunbelt USA cannot control the delivery of your package once it leaves our warehouse.
Most orders will ship within 2 business days of the date that the order is placed. Orders ship on Tuesday and Thursday.
If a scheduled shipment date lands on a holiday, the order will be delayed by at least one day. Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays may delay the scheduled shipment dates by 2 or more days.
